Important Information Regarding Acadia Migration to Office 365

Office 365 Migration

Acadia University is changing its email platform to Microsoft’s Office 365 environment. This is a cloud-based service operated by Microsoft and is being adopted by all NS educational institutions. This change will impact all existing Acadia email users, including employees who have retired and have an email account on our Lifetime email server. We plan to migrate retiree email on May 31, 2016.

If you have your email forwarded to a third-party service, you will not need to do anything. For all others, before you can access your new Office 365 account, you will need to do is change your password using Acadia’s password change portal. Once that is done, you will have various ways to check your email. Note that logging into the Office 365 email system requires your Acadia email address. Normally it should be but if you are uncertain, it can be verified.
