Security Advisory: Phishing Attempt on Campus

INFORMATION:
There have been reports of phishing emails being sent to faculty and staff Acadia emails. Although the sender is an external email, the signature appears to be from the previous Acadia chancellor. The email contains a malicious pdf document.
Watch for the following elements:
• Subject: FW: Professional Program and Ethical Conduct Program For Acadia University
• Sender: "susan.wardrope" <Susan.Wardrope@forthvalley.ac.uk>
• Attachment: Acadia University.pdf
The objective of this message is to install malware on your computer. If you opened the attachment, please contact the Service Desk.
