Acadia Technology Services is pleased to announce the addition of project management features to the Hub Service Portal.
"Technology Services is actively developing project management capacity", says Executive Director Gary Doucette, "introducing project management capabilities to the Hub Service Portal allows us to effectively engage and collaborate with project stakeholders across the campus."
Acadia Technology Services is pleased to introduce the Hub Service Portal, a new way for the university community to access services on the web. With improved transparency in the management of service requests, along with new self-service options to help resolve issues faster, the service portal will quickly become the central point of contact for the technology needs of the Acadia community.
As many users are probably aware, Microsoft has released the new Windows 10 operating system. Although users may be tempted to switch to it right away, Technology Services would like to caution everyone that some of the Acadia-provided network software does not currently work with Windows 10.
Acadia Technology Services has removed the "Acadia Open - Web Only" wireless network and replaced it with "Acadia Guest." The purpose of this network is to provide temporary web access to visitors of the Campus. The “Acadia Guest” wireless network requires an email address to login and will provide two hours of use. Patrons and guests are able to login multiple times to continue their access.
