Users with a phone number associated with their Teams audio conferencing
MORE INFO:
You currently have functionality in Teams that provides the ability to create meeting with a phone number for your participants to call. Prior to this change, the number was associated with a long distance Toronto area code. With this change, you will now see a 902 area code associated with your call.
When you create a meeting as a Team’s meeting, your participants can either use the Teams link or the phone number to participate. This can be seen at the bottom of the meeting request. Only the organizer requires this particular license; your participants do not. You can use the Teams meeting link for participants that are internal or external to the university. Technology Services has a limited number of these licenses.
