Service Notice: CSAM2022 Week 3 - How strong is your password?
Safe password hygiene is a top strategy in cybersecurity. Yet, “password1234” is still one of the most common passwords in use! This is like handing the key to the bad guys. This week, for CSAM, we focus on password security.
1. Take the training for a chance to win. Spend 5 minutes and learn Eight Ways to Strengthen and Secure your Password.
- In the Cybersecurity Awareness Training Portal look for 2022 CSAM 3: https://training.knowbe4.com/ui/login
- Or navigate to the TS website (ts.acadiau.ca > Cybersecurity Awareness)
This week you have a chance to win a month’s pass, and drinks for two (2), at the University Club. Each time you participate, you are entered into the Grand Prize – a chance to win two (2) tickets to the Alumni Gala in Halifax. Thank you to our sponsors: U-Club and the Office of Advancement, Alumni Affairs.
The winner from Week 2 was Terry Aulenbach. Thank you to Lisa Miller, Chartwells, for helping with the draw.
2. Submit a phish contest
Complete this short survey to submit a phishing email that caught your attention – something you received or heard about. Several will be selected and used in November’s simulated phishing campaign.
