Project Management Added to Hub Service Portal

Acadia Technology Services is pleased to announce the addition of project management features to the Hub Service Portal.

"Technology Services is actively developing project management capacity", says Executive Director Gary Doucette, "introducing project management capabilities to the Hub Service Portal allows us to effectively engage and collaborate with project stakeholders across the campus." 

Project requests are initiated through the Hub Service Portal then tracked through the review and approval process. Once approved a dedicated project site is available for stakeholders to collaborate on project activities.

"The site allows me to manage all aspects of a project", says Greg Deveau, Project Manager with Technology Services, "stakeholders can access the site to check status, review plans or even report an issue. We're anticipating improved communication and engagement within our project teams."

The Hub Service Portal was launched in August of 2015 providing the university community access to technology services on the web. With improved transparency in the management of service requests and self-service options to resolve issues faster, the service portal has become the central point of contact for the technology needs of the Acadia community. The introduction of project management in the portal further enhances a valuable collaboration space.
