Hub Service Portal News Release

Acadia Technology Services is pleased to introduce the Hub Service Portal, a new way for the university community to access services on the web.

Acadia Technology Services is pleased to introduce the Hub Service Portal, a new way for the university community to access services on the web.  With improved transparency in the management of service requests, along with new self-service options to help resolve issues faster, the service portal will quickly become the central point of contact for the technology needs of the Acadia community.

Featuring a mobile friendly design, visitors use a preferred device to access the Service Catalog and Knowledge Base at ts.acadiau.ca.  When prompted, Acadia community members use their network username and password to submit a service request from the site.

At the site, the Services tab provides access to the catalog of services provided by Acadia Technology Services along with important details on how to initiate a request for help.  The Knowledge Base tab provides articles on a variety of subjects curated by Acadia Technology Services staff. The articles suggest solutions to commonly encountered technology problems.  Fully searchable, the site allows relevant content to be quickly identified.

The site is new and the Technology Services Team is working hard to ensure that as many questions as possible are answered there. Over time the content will become richer as the team works through new issues and resolutions.
