Technology Services is pleased to announce that Tammy George is the inaugural recipient of the Paul Steele Service Award. Tammy is recognized by her peers as the staff member who exemplifies the Technology Services’ values of dedication, support, and exceeding expectations. As one of her colleagues said “Tammy is known to many who appreciate her kindness and support. She will never back down from a challenge.”

Tammy has worked in Technology Services her entire career. Over the years, she has supported the campus community with network access, SharePoint, Office 365 and everything in between. She now brings that wealth of experience to her new role as System Analyst - Identity and Access Management (IAM).

The award is named for Paul Steele who retired in 2016, after 35 years of service to Acadia. Paul worked tirelessly to build and keep the infrastructure operating efficiently. According to Gary Doucette, Acadia Technology Services, Executive Director, “the award gives recognition to an individual for exemplary service and is also a symbol of the talented and dedicated team in which we work.”
